1) West Corner (01/03/08)

Nan: Nice shot of the two main entrances, though Bob and I will use the side porch most of the time. Imagine this ecru siding with Hunter Green trim.

The window downstairs is the computer room. Upstairs is the bedroom.

Bob: Home Page shot is from the southwest, so this is more-or-less the west corner. The house is situated cock-eyed to the local street grid, as well as the compass: the house corners point north, east, west and south, and the house faces southwest. Pictures are continuing approximately clockwise from here.

2) Side Entrance (01/03/08)

Nan: This will be our main entrance. The door opens onto what we call the pantry. The odd looking thing to the left was a garbage can holder. This will come out. We will plant ornamental grasses there.

Bob: Window is to the utility room, pantry to right of door.

3) Back Roof Line (01/03/08)

Nan: Nice shot of the back hip roof. The short roof line is the side entrance.

Bob: Window is NE window of bedroom, upstairs. A little siding to be repaired right next to the eaves. The entire exterior was probably redone about 1995, as this is the date scratched in the replaced front steps.

4) Patio Door (12/28/07)

Bob: This is looking in the kitchen door from the patio.

Nan: Eventually we will have Hunter Green trim on the house. We also will build a railing around this stoop.

5) Patio Fence (12/26/07)

Nan: Night shot of the back of the house. The fence encloses a NICE patio. Lots of good room for BBQ there.

6) Bob's Garage (01/03/08)

Nan: As you can see, the garage door needs painting. Hunter Green when it's all done.

Bob: This picture is shot facing west along the alley on the north side of the garage. Behind me, it goes east three blocks and straight to the County Courthouse in the main square at the center of Lebanon. From here, we can see the clock tower on the dome and hear the bell chime the hours.

7) Between the Cracks (01/03/08)

Nan: The garage sets nearly ON the property line here. You can see the fence that separates us from Rubber Duckie.

The garage door still needs painting. Any volunteers? :)

Bob: Rubber Duckie Pool Supply is our neighbor to the south/southeast. A little later this year I'll have to work with them on keeping a tidy neighborhood...

8) Southeast Side, Back (01/03/08)

Nan: Who else has a Rubber Duckie in their yard? Maybe some day we can figure out a way to eliminate that huge SUN sign! Ya think?

Bob: The tree was free. I don't want to take it out if I don't have to.

(05/2010): Actually we DID get that sign down, see the Front Yard page.

9) South Corner (01/03/08)

Nan: This view is closer to the street. Rubber Duckie is closed Saturday afternoon and Sunday, so they won't be bad neighbors.

Bob: They're also closed all winter...;-}~ Upstairs windows on this corner are to the second bathroom.

10) Drawing of Boundaries (01/04/08)

Bob: 2D drawing of first floor and surrounding areas, with embellishments. Bottom of drawing is front of house. Alley appearing from bottom-left to top-right runs straight east-west.

11) Second Floor (01/04/08)

Bob: 2D drawing of second floor. Rooms at bottom of drawing from left to right: bedroom, sewing room, second bathroom. Long room at top is, well, the long room. The long rectangles along the long sides of the long room are dead attic space.
